Computational Optimization of Mrtd Haar-based Adaptive Schemes Used for the Design of Rf Packaging Structures

چکیده

The MRTD adaptive gridding scheme that is based on the Haar expansion basis is discussed for arbitrary wavelet resolutions. Guidelines for the optimization of memory and execution time requirements are presented. A multi-time-stepping procedure enhances further the computational economies o ered by a combination of absolute and relative thresholding of the wavelet values.
